Mobility Impairments & Possible Accommodations

Section 1

Mobility impairment is a type of disability that includes upper or lower limb loss or disability, manual dexterity disability, and disability in coordination between different organs of the body. Disability in mobility can be either a congenital or acquired-with-age condition. This could also be the consequence of disease. People who have a broken skeletal structure also fall into this category of disability.

If you find that a classroom is not accessible to those with mobility impairments, please notify the Disability Services Center by voice: (949) 824-7494, TTY: (949) 824-6272 or by email.
