Accessibility Pledge

I pledge to:

1. Acknowledge the existence of ableism;
2. Recognize society's unconscious bias against people with disabilities and evaluate that bias in my own life (At the link, select "I wish to proceed" then choose "Disability IAT" test);
3. Educate myself on how to combat stereotypes, prejudices and harmful practices relating to people with disabilities, in all areas of life;
4. Hold space for people with disabilities to share their lived experiences and amplify their voices, capabilities and contributions; and
5. Foster respect for the rights and dignity of people with disabilities.
